Kapok filled Thai cushions are typical of the Lai Thai design which has been used for centuries. Focusing on carrying on the theme through all the products, Thai Pillow prides ourselves on tradition. We use the “mon khwan” style for our extra wide Thai mattresses, Mon Khwan means “axe pillow” which represents the triangular shape of the support backrest used in the design of these floor cushions. The headrest is perfect for lounging when reading or watching TV as it gives the necessary support needed for good posture.

To maintain the triangular shape of the cushions they are stuffed with 100% natural kapok and covered with an unbleached cotton cover. Each mattresses consists of smaller triangular tubes stacked on top of each other is a specific way so that each tube supports and braces the ones closet. Kapok is anti-allergenic and the cotton is cleanable making these types of cushions ideal for use by anyone.
